How can I create a Playlist?

Any audio material under the Audio Files will be sorted alphabetically. The files can be organized in folders & sub-folders too and will be sorted alphabetically just as well.

See the tips below to get you started.

Tips how to organize the files

  • Number your files. This will ensure that they will play in the order you intend them to and it also makes it easier to reorder them later. The files should start with a zero-padded number then any descriptive title can follow it, like so:
    001 – My first recording
    002 – My second recording

    010 – My tenth recording

Avoid numbering them with single digits and always zero-pad them as shown above to get the correct ordering.
  • Separate each logical chapter or question into a separate recording file
  • State the chapter or the title of what you are recording at the beginning of each recording. This will help you quickly find the right material when in the exam.
  • Speak with a pace that you can keep up with while writing – slow down so you can keep notes.
  • Speak clearly. Turn down any ambient noises, close the doors and windows, so it is quiet.
  • Use a desktop microphone for better quality recordings.
  • Adjust the volume of the Microphone to the proper level, so that your speech is adequate in volume.

If your recordings are too low in volume even after adjustment you can use these free 3rd-party tools below to make them louder.
