Volume Adjustment

The volume can be adjusted directly on your mobile phone or media player, if used. Always adjust the volume while On a Call or while listening to your Music or Recording and adjust it accordingly. Start at the lowest volume, then increase it in steps, until it is sufficient or until you can no longer hear the volume increasing in your earpiece.

NOTE if the sound is unclear, has gaps or is distorted the Volume is set too high – lower it until the distortion is removed.

Active Earpiece Mode

The SX PRO was designed to offer you the best sound quality in every situation. On top of supporting the Passive Earpieces it also specifically supports our Active Earpiece with the ACTIVE EARPIECE MODE. The Active Earpiece provides the highest volume and voice quality comparable to a pair of standard headphones. They can be used in loud environments or where background noise is very high and still allow you to communicate. They require and use a small battery to function. They are not included with the standard SX PRO set, but can be purchased separately.

How to turn-on this mode?

To turn-on the ACTIVE EARPIECE MODE on your SX PRO the POWER-BUTTON must be pressed five-times in a row within 3 seconds. A tone will indicate the ACTIVE EARPIECE MODE was enabled.

To turn if off the same button sequence as indicated above should followed to turn off this function. Or alternatively the SX PRO should be turned-off this will automatically turn off this mode the next time the SX PRO is turned-on.

Important Precautions!

WARNING! Each time before using the Active Earpiece, first always hold it near your ear without inserting it, enable the ACTIVE EARPIECE MODE and adjust the volume properly, then proceed to place it inside your ear.

ONLY THE ACTIVE EARPIECE MODE SHOULD BE USED WITH THE ACTIVE EARPIECES. NOT FOLLOWING THE ABOVE CAN DAMAGE YOUR HEARING IF EXPOSED TO VERY HIGH VOLUME – MODERATE VOLUME LEVELS ARE RECOMMENDED AND ALL GENERAL SAFETY PRECAUTIONS SHOULD BE FOLLOWED.

NOTE The ACTIVE EARPIECE MODE should be disabled when using our Passive Earpieces, or there will be no sound heard from your Earpiece.
